Position summary : Value and Access Liaison
We are seeking a Value and Access Liaison to develop programs, activities, and relationships, both externally and internally, to advance the value and clinical knowledge of imlifidase to the payer and provider community. You will be responsible for providing payer and formulary support through value and medical presentations that focus on therapeutic as well as economic outcomes and utilization aspects of our products.
This is a field-based position within the Value and Access team, reporting to the National Field Director, Value and Access. The candidate must live within the assigned region and will be responsible for engaging with regional payer accounts, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and transplant centers as assigned.
This role requires frequent regional travel, including overnight stays (up to 75%), with the ability to work collaboratively across commercial, medical affairs, and patient services teams.
Key tasks and responsibilities

Payer and Formulary Support
• Execute strategies and tactics to support formulary placement, reimbursement (coverage, coding, payment, and patient access), and pathways across payer customers and select IDNs within assigned region to support the launch and adoption of imlifidase.
• Provide payer and formulary support through value and medical presentations that focus on therapeutic as well as economic outcomes and utilization aspects of imlifidase, and in clinical policy discussions such as evidence-based medicine, clinical guidelines, and prior authorization.
• Provide complex value-based technical information inclusive of medical education, health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics information and models, and research protocol opportunities to appropriate audiences.
• Foster scientific information exchange as it relates to reimbursement and coverage policy between the medical community, payer community, and Hansa Biopharma.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
• Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future payer, policy, IDN, and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) opinion leaders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with payer and provider decision-makers, including pharmacy directors, medical directors, case managers, and transplant center leadership within assigned region.
• Work directly with providers, administrators and their staff at transplant centers to navigate reimbursement processes for imlifidase and help identify and overcome issues that could prevent access to imlifidase in highly sensitized transplantation.
• Deliver imlifidase clinical, economic, and humanistic value to key stakeholders to drive adoption for highly sensitized kidney transplant, including evidence from HEOR and real-world evidence as appropriate.
3. Strategic Execution and Collaboration
• Develop and execute regional account plans aligned with national commercial strategy and objectives.
• Interact with key internal stakeholders to provide feedback on customer trends in interpreting and using value evidence, reimbursement, and payer policy.
• Collaborate with commercial, medical affairs, and patient services teams to ensure readiness of transplant centers for imlifidase aligned to launch plan.
• Effectively manage internal relationships, budgets, and travel and expenses within guidelines.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of field activities, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to National Field Director, Value and Access.
4. Compliance and Research Support
• Ensure all field activities comply with regulatory, legal and compliance standards.
• Collect and report competitive intelligence within Hansa Biopharma's competitive intelligence guidelines.
• Support identification of speaker opportunities and concepts for investigator-supported economics, humanistic outcome, and non-registration clinical studies to support imlifidase value messages within scope.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and national/regional planning activities as required.
Education and experience requirements
1. Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of directly related experience; OR
• Master's Degree with 4+ years of directly related experience; OR
• Doctoral degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.) with 2+ years of directly related experience
2. Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience working directly with US payer accounts, including managed markets, reimbursement landscape, pharmacoeconomics, and population health.
• Deep knowledge of managed markets, US reimbursement landscape, pharmacoeconomics, population health, and other broad healthcare trends.
• Demonstrated success in payer and/or provider engagement with proven ability to influence stakeholders and navigate complex reimbursement environments.
• Therapeutic area expertise in transplant, nephrology, immunology, or orphan diseases preferred.
• Experience in patient access in US and/or global markets.
• Project management experience within a biopharmaceutical company.
• Launch experience, ideally in hospital, transplant, nephrology or orphan diseases; experience from a smaller international biotech company is preferred.

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Veeva) and other IT systems.
• Must reside within assigned region with ability to travel frequently (up to 75% travel including overnight stays).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Estimated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $195,000 annually. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications, skills and experience of the individual applicant, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographic location of the individual. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives, as well as participation in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, company holidays and well-being benefits.
