Position summary : Associate Director, US HCP Marketing
The Associate Director, US HCP Marketing, will focus on developing strategies and executing tactics, directed at health care professionals, for Hansa’s upcoming product launch of imlifidase in the US. This role will support:
Development of unbranded strategy and tactics, including messaging, materials, and execution to support market development projects
Development of brand launch strategy and tactics, including brand campaign, messaging, materials, and execution to support promotion of a new product, once approved
Execution of tactics supporting peer-to-peer education, ad board & steering committee planning and execution, development and execution of speaker bureau content and training material
This role will report to SVP of Commercial, and will partner closely with key internal cross-functional partners and external agencies to plan and implement personal and non-personal tactics to support the upcoming launch. This role will support brand strategies, including pull-through to the commercial Key Account Management Field Team, KOL engagement, and National and Regional Congress presence and execution. The AD will also support deliverables around key brand expectations, including Brand Planning, Launch Readiness, and Business Reviews.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the disease state education campaign
• Support US launch readiness efforts, including the development and execution of the HCP-branded strategy and tactics
• Contribute to developing and updating the strategic brand plan
• Ensure customer and competitor insights drive actionable updates to strategy
• Plan and execute commercial ad boards and commercial steering committee meetings to drive insight generation and inform decision-making across functions
• Own the U.S. conference strategy, elevating Hansa’s presence and impact at key national, regional, and local meetings.
• Create and manage the US Speaker’s Bureau and programs, ensuring appropriate content development and compliant execution
• Ensure readiness of materials to support Key Account Managers'
• Collaborate and co-create with multiple functional groups within the organization, including but not limited to US and Global Marketing, Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory, as well as agency partners
• Work closely with Legal, Regulatory and Medical Affairs to effectively navigate the Promotional Material Review process, prioritize and ensure timely and compliant development of HCP-directed tactics
• Execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and address business objectives
• Ensure timely and effective support for the OPDP submission package for accelerated approval.
Education and experience requirements
• This role will be based at our NYC (Manhattan) office when opened and will require the individual to be at a daily commuting distance from NYC on the hybrid schedule
• BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Experience in effectively managing external agency partners and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programs
• Agility, proven ability to influence without authority, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to achieve positive results
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality, willingness to roll up sleeves, and flexibility to jump in where the business needs dictate
• Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
• Strong project management, communication, and organization skills
• Transplant and/or rare disease/nephrology experience preferred
• US launch experience strongly preferred
• Ability to travel ~25%

Estimated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $195,000 annually. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications, skills and experience of the individual applicant, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographic location of the individual. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives, as well as participation in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, company holidays and well-being benefits.
